日経商品指数17種

日経商品指数17種は、日本経済新聞社が開発した、鋼材（棒鋼、H形鋼他）や非鉄金属（銅地銀、アルミニウム地金他）など17品目の国内企業間取引価格をもとにした商品価格指数をいう。1970年平均を100として、品目ごとのウエート付けをしない幾何平均法で算出し、同社が日次で発表している。
（日本経済新聞への掲載開始は1974年11月、採用商品は５年に１回をめどに見直し）
